Happy 4 Months to you Finshep!

Dear Finshep,

Mom, Dad, Baby & Bentman want to wish you a very happy 4 months. We are so thrilled to have you inside of well... me (your mom). Stay put for awhile, keep growing and start kicking! We can't wait to feel you :) Love you!!!!!

Pies Pies Wonderful Pies!

While my Canadian friends and family are well past Thanksgiving, my American friends are just getting ready. And I'll be honest I have no problem with celebrating twice, in fact I'm quite "Thankful"! So here's a thought.... another Canadian here in Austin who also loves to bake has started taking pie orders for Thanksgiving. It got me thinking, I would love to do that! I am thinking of making Apple, Pumpkin,& Cherry. Question, what kind of pie would you like me to make you??

Finshep ... I can hear you!!

Well we are 15 weeks and 4 days in and have never counted time like we do now. Lately I've been feeling great, minus the headaches. Up about 8lbs and forcing Kenny to get a 10th job to support my new hobby... eating!! Really it's amazing to think that I am currently carrying a cell phone sized baby around in me. Lovingly we have dubbed the baby "Finshep" it has taken the awkwardness out of our daily prayers.

So today Kenny, Kat and little Finshep were off to our monthly appointment, a quick visit with our nurse Lori. All in all everything looks awesome. And while we wait for what feels like FOREVER (our next ultrasound in November) we are very thankful for today's very sweet moment. 

Buy Buy Baby!!

Well today when I probably should have been resting (after teaching 13 kiddos in preschool and then a birthday party at kiddie acres) Kenny and I took a little trip to Buy Buy Baby. For those who haven't been yet it is a lot like Babies R Us. We decided to have a little fun with the registry gun and go on a scan-a-thon! Since we have all the large items we let loose and went to town on the smaller items. Since we are first timers if you notice any items on our list and have a review, comment, or better suggestion PLEASE do tell! There are just so many options and you Mama's know what works and what doesn't.  Appreciate all your help and love!

Early morning deals at AMOMS Sale!

Early yesterday morning my friend Kimberly, her three kiddos and I met up at a Austin Moms of Multiples Sale. It was slightly overwhelming and you definitely needed to take your time and look things over. But I was one happy Momma when all was said and done. We took home a beautiful *must be new* play pen, a jumperoo, some crib sheets and a I heart NY onesie. All in all we did pretty good. I would recommend going if you are in need of clothes, toys or books. There really weren't too many large items (no highchairs, only one crib). There next sale will be April 9th, not sure I'll be able to check that one out ;)

Babys 1st Concert

Last Thursday Kenny surprised me with tickets to the "Make a Change" tour. DATE NIGHT!!! The tour featured Toby Mac, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Jason Gray and Max Lucado. We had such an amazing time! While waiting in line the craziest thing happened. Two women in front of us turned around and kindly asked "how far along are you?" Say What?!?! I was SHOCKED! I knew I had gained weight (approx 7lbs) but I was not expecting complete strangers to notice. Well weather you believe me or not, we are so excited and loving every minute of this adventure :)

My Dad Is My Hero!

This week is ACL ( Austin City Limits ). Kenny being the awesome selfless man he is has taken up Pedicabbing to help pay for the baby. His first night was good, but I wanted to make his second even better! So I asked and God blessed me with one killer idea.....

Alright I'm ready, I've caught the bug. As you may or may not know my oldest sister Shirley happens to be the genius behind www.therempels4.blogspot.com (A mom after God's own heart) She has had amazing success after putting in lots of creative hard work. One thing she has become famous for on her blog are her product reviews. And Ill be honest, I'm jealous. That girl has so many awesome products showing up at her house, it's crazy. Her giveaways are amazing and so are her reviews.
Oh so that's where the bug came from! With plenty of Mama's, Prego Mama's, and children around me I think this could be a HUGE success.

Happy Birthday Oma and Makayla!
